The cookies we use

One. Exactly one, and it is strictly necessary:

• –NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you picked in the EN/PT switch so the site opens in it next time. One year. It holds nothing that identifies you and never leaves your browser for a third party.

What we do not use

No Google Analytics or any other analytics tool. No Meta, Google Ads or other advertising pixels. No fonts, maps, videos or widgets hosted by anyone else: everything this site serves comes from our own domain. We do not profile visitors, and we neither sell nor share data.

Why there is no cookie banner

Privacy law in the UAE and in the European Union requires prior consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt.

Since the only cookie here is the one holding your language, there is nothing to consent to, and a banner asking permission for nothing would only train you to click Accept without reading. If we ever add analytics or advertising, the banner appears before any such cookie is written, with Reject as visible and as easy to click as Accept, and with the ability to change your mind at any time.

Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, without asking us. Block ours and the site still works. It simply stops remembering your language between visits.
